    Acted for appellant in leading case on “choice of remedies” doctrine in resisting recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral award.

    Successfully represented two Toronto high school students in a ground-breaking decision about the use of mandatory breathalyzer tests at high school proms.

  • Successfully defended the National Hockey League in a claim brought by Labatt Brewing Company concerning an alleged obligation to continue negotiating a renewal of a multi-million dollar sponsorship agreement

    Successfully represented Canadian General Motors dealers in Ontario Court of Appeal reversing judgment regarding applicability of Ontario franchise legislation to American parent of franchisor.
