Rachel Boyd

Bio

Rachel is an articling student at Lax O’Sullivan Lisus Gottlieb. She completed her J.D. at Queen’s University, where she received the Queen’s Law Prize in Criminal Law for the 2023-24 academic year.

Rachel graduated from Ontario Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, and achieved the highest GPA in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities two years in a row.

Rachel is a dedicated member of her community. She was an oralist in the Laskin Moot Competition, an editor for the Queen’s Law Journal, and a mentor to first year law students. She was also an executive officer for the Queen’s Law Moot Society, where she helped launch the first annual Cromwell Moot.
