creative solutions for even the most complex legal problems.
Bio
Rachel
is developing a general trial and appellate litigation practice.
Rachel served as a law clerk for
Justice Mahmud Jamal at the Supreme Court of Canada. She also clerked
at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, where she assisted Justices David M.
Paciocco, Steve A. Coroza, and Lise G. Favreau. Before clerking,
Rachel completed her articles at a prominent national law firm based in
Toronto.
Rachel received her J.D. from
Queen’s University, where she graduated as the Silver Medalist and received
numerous awards for academic achievements. Rachel was also a
member of the Editorial Board of the Queen’s
Law Journal, competed in and coached the
Wilson Moot, and acted as a peer tutor. In addition, she was a research
assistant for Professor Darryl Robinson and Professor Lisa Kelly.
Rachel obtained her Bachelor of
Arts (Honours) from Queen’s University, where she graduated as the Medalist in
Gender Studies.
