Julia is a summer student at Lax O'Sullivan. She is a second-year JD candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she serves as Secretary of the Constitutional Law Society and as a 2L Representative for the First-Generation Lawyers of Osgoode and the Canadian Italian Association of Osgoode. Next year, she will participate in the Anti-Discrimination Intensive Program.
Julia is a skilled advocate with a strong foundation in litigation. She has developed strong legal research and oral advocacy skills as a student researcher focusing on anti discrimination law and the protection of political belief, and as a junior caseworker at the Community and Legal Aid Services Program. Through Pro Bono Students Canada, she completed a research placement with the Northwest Territories Human Rights Commission, analyzing access to justice and the impact of sweeping non-disclosure agreements. She has also demonstrated her talent as a litigator through mooting competitions, participating in the Lemers Cup and the Constitutional Law Moot.
Julia earned her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Law & Society. She graduated as the recipient of the YUFA Undergraduate Scholarship, awarded to the upper-year student with the highest cumulative grade point average in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies.
