Gareth is a summer student at Lax O’Sullivan. He has completed his second year as a JD student at Queen’s University. He has served as a caseworker at Queen’s Prison Law Clinic, where he successfully represented prisoners at disciplinary court, initiated grievances concerning health care issues, and assisted with parole applications. He has worked as a research assistant to a leading business law scholar, conducting research on a broad range of commercial law topics and contributing to the preparation of materials for “Law (Taylor’s Version)”, a new course focused on Taylor Swift’s legal battles involving copyright, trademark and other intellectual property law issues. Gareth graduated with distinction from the University of British Columbia, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Passionate about diversity and community engagement, Gareth serves as the Vice President of the Queen's Asian Law Students’ Association, where he organizes mentorship programs to support his peers. As an academic tutor, he provides individualized tutoring and mentorship to first-year law students, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment within the law school community.
