Eric Laurin

Bio

Eric is developing a broad litigation practice. Before joining Lax O’Sullivan Lisus Gottlieb, he gained an understanding of effective courtroom advocacy as the bilingual law clerk at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Toronto, where he frequently worked on matters before the Commercial List.

Eric earned his BCL/JD from the McGill Faculty of Law, taking courses in both English and French. In 2025, he competed in the Davies Moot, where his team placed third overall. He also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the McGill Journal of Dispute Resolution in his third year at the faculty, while volunteering as a senior caseworker at the Legal Information Clinic at McGill.

Before his legal studies, Eric became a Chartered Professional Accountant (2020 Common Final Examination Honour Roll) and gained valuable business experience in M&A transaction advisory and buy-side investment roles.

Eric completed his Bachelor of Commerce with Honours, Accounting Option, at the UBC Sauder School of Business in 2019.
