Successful in enforcing a buy/sell clause in a USA before the Commercial List.

Obtained a $5 million judgment for breach of an oral contract for the purchase and sale of a Volkswagen dealership and surrounding land in Markham, Ontario.

Representing the Regional Municipality of York in a large construction dispute relating to the development of Steeles West Station and the defence of subcontractor claims valued at over $50 million.

Obtained partial summary judgment on claim for outstanding accounts. Successfully defended set-off claim and request for stay of enforcement.

Successfully represented landlord and insurer in Ontario Court of Appeal, reversing decision regarding insurance coverage in the event of fire loss.

Counsel to three Schedule 1 banks in a cheque clearing class action in which the plaintiff’s motion for certification was successfully defeated.
