Counsel to a plaintiff university in a lengthy, but successful, trial involving extensive fraud perpetrated by senior university executives.

Successfully represented plaintiff in Ontario Court of Appeal overturning judgment denying subject matter jurisdiction of Superior Court over claims against German bank.

Counsel to an airline in a complicated class action arising from allegations of conspiracy to fix air cargo fares, including breaches of the Competition Act. 2008 CanLII 11643  

Counsel to the respondent in an arbitration concerning a contractual dispute and the appropriate methodology for the valuation of foreign oil reserves.

Successfully represented a natural resources company in recovering insurance proceeds for losses arising from one of the biggest oil spills in North American history.

Successfully represented Cleveland Indians, resisting injunction to restrain display of team name and logo.

Provisions of Corrections and Conditional Release Act authorising solitary confinement declared unconstitutional.
