Megan Fernandes Nogueira

Bio

Megan is a summer student at Lax O’Sullivan. She obtained her H.B.A. in Criminology & Sociolegal Studies and Ethics, Society & Law from the University of Toronto, earning a Dean’s List Scholar designation in each year of study. She is currently pursuing her J.D. at Osgoode Hall Law School.

 In her first year, she was awarded a Distinguished Oralist Award in the Lerners LLP Cup and advanced to the finals of the Dentons Canada LLP Cup Negotiation Competition. She subsequently represented Osgoode at the Canadian National Negotiation Competition and was recognized for achieving the highest standing in her tort law class. During the summer, she completed an internship at the Ontario Securities Commission, gaining hands-on experience in securities litigation. In her second year, Megan competed as an oralist in the Adam F. Fanaki Competition Law Moot.
