Zain is a business-minded litigator who advocates strongly for his clients. His approach combines strategic insight with practical problem-solving to build an effective case.

Zain’s practice covers all aspects of business litigation, including contract disputes, oppression claims, directors’ and officers’ liability, regulatory investigations, administrative law and appellate advocacy.  He has represented clients at all levels of court in Ontario and at the Supreme Court of Canada.  Zain joined Lax O’Sullivan after clerking at the Supreme Court of Canada and spending a summer at a leading New York firm, where he worked on class actions and securities matters.

During law school, Zain was a successful mooter and served as an editor of the McGill Law Journal.
