Court Grants Freezing Order, Finds Defendant in Contempt Following Discovery of Forged Documents and False Testimony
Overview
In a recent decision, Jonathan Lisus, Andrew Winton and John Carlo Mastrangelo successfully obtained a Mareva injunction freezing the assets and funds of two Defendants who were caught repeatedly delivering forged documents and giving false testimony in response to Court Orders. The Court found that the Plaintiff had made out a strong prima facie case of oppression and declared that the Defendants were in contempt of court.
