Despina combines a passion for the law with the poise of an experienced mooter. Known for her attention to detail and an intentional approach to advocacy, she is committed to turning detailed research into persuasive courtroom results.
Despina is a 2L student at Lax O’Sullivan. She graduated summa cum laude with an Hons. B.A. in Philosophy from York University. Despina also holds an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario, where she focused in legal philosophy and ethics. She is currently a J.D. Candidate at Queen’s University where she has explored her passion for court room advocacy through mooting. She participated in the Hicks Morley Moot in 1L and the Gale Moot Cup in 2L. Despina also co-founded and is president of the Queen’s Law Moot Society, which is home to the annual Cromwell Moot.
