John Carlo is developing a broad litigation practice, with particular interests in corporate-commercial litigation and administrative law.
Before joining the firm, John Carlo served as a law clerk to the Honourable Suzanne Côté at the Supreme Court of Canada during the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 terms.
John Carlo received his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2017, where he graduated as the gold medallist, and won a range of subject-matter prizes. During his second year of study, he spent a semester at the Human Rights Legal Support Centre in Toronto, where he assisted clients with various aspects of their cases before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario — including at the application, mediation and hearing stages. John Carlo also worked as an academic research assistant, and was a summer student at the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario and at a leading national law firm.
