Michael is a skilled advocate and problem-solver. He is resolute in pursuing his clients' goals and achieving optimal results in court and in arbitrations.

Michael is a litigator catering to clients across a wide range of industries. He has broad experience at the commercial bar that includes contractual, shareholder, civil fraud, real estate, and competition disputes. He is developing a specialty within the automotive industry and disputes that fall under the National Automobile Dealer Arbitration Program (NADAP), and in particular, representing franchisees in their disputes against car manufacturers. Michael has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, various administrative tribunals, and has represented clients in mediations and arbitrations.

Clients choose Michael for his acute attention to detail and strategic counsel. His patience and easy demeanour help clients navigate the litigation process from initial claims to satisfactory resolutions.

Prior to joining Lax O'Sullivan, Michael was a litigation associate at a leading national law firm and worked for a year in barristers' chambers in London, England as a Harold G. Fox Scholar.
