Jasmine is a persuasive and confident litigator who enjoys handling complex interjurisdictional and international legal issues. As an innovative problem solver, she knows how to help clients achieve a satisfactory outcome.

Jasmine’s practice encompasses a broad range of commercial and contractual litigation matters. Before joining Lax O’Sullivan, Jasmine was a litigation associate at a leading international law firm, where she handled multi-jurisdictional contract disputes, professional negligence and defamation claims, product liability claims, human rights due diligence (ESG reporting) and construction claims. She is an energetic and responsive advocate for the clients she represents, including in fast-moving matters like injunctions, motions and cybersecurity breaches.

Jasmine has also gained experience in corporate restructuring and insolvency claims, shareholder disputes, insurance coverage for data and privacy breach claims, and complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters at both the domestic and international levels. She is a methodical legal researcher and can distill highly technical financial, computer-related and scientific matters for a wide variety of audiences.

Jasmine graduated from University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Common Law with the International Law option, where she was an avid mooter with several notable wins. She completed her undergraduate degree at Carleton University in International History and Mandarin Chinese.
