Superior Court Disqualifies Attorney General Canada of Witness on Basis of Conflict of Interest

Matthew Law and Khrystina McMillan successfully argued that the discovery witness chosen by the Attorney General of Canada should be disqualified on the basis of his conflict of interest. The Court found that the government’s witness was “demonstrably unsatisfactory” because of his economic relationship with a non-party whose conduct is at issue in the claim.
