Court Grants Freezing Order Over the Assets of Alleged Fraudsters

In a recent decision, Rahool Agarwal and Niklas Holmberg successfully obtained a Mareva injunction freezing the assets and funds of the Defendants who are alleged to have fraudulently misappropriated millions of dollars of donations from surviving family members of deceased firefighters. The Court found that the Plaintiffs had made out a strong prima facie case for its various causes of action against the Defendants, including misrepresentation, breach of duty and conspiracy.
