Successfully represented Canadian Home Publishers Inc. before the Ontario Court of Appeal and on a leave application to the Supreme Court of Canada in a case that determined that a limited partner is not entitled to a share of the residual assets of a limited partnership on dissolution, absent a partnership agreement to the contrary. This was a case of first instance involving the interpretation of the Limited Partnerships Act, R.S.O. 1990, c L. 16 and the Partnerships Act, R.S.O. 1990, c P.5. 2019 ONCA 314
