Joanna is a creative thinker who approaches complex legal issues with confidence and perseverance. She is committed to driving strategic outcomes and welcomes challenges.

Joanna is a summer student at Lax O’Sullivan. She recently completed her second year at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she has been recognized for her outstanding research and writing talents. Joanna’s passion for advocacy has grown from her recent clinic experience at Community and Legal Aid Services Program, where she worked closely with clients, conducted negotiations, and appeared frequently in court. She is also dedicated to several student support initiatives in her capacities as a Peer Counsellor and a Dean’s Lecture Note Scribe.

Before law school, Joanna worked as a policy advisor at the Government of Ontario, where she was involved in the development of several regulatory and research initiatives in the alcohol and cannabis industries. She has an undergraduate degree in Criminology from the University of Ottawa.
